Ready When You Are: Early Voting Is Underway

Today is the first day you can vote early in-person here in North Carolina! Even if you aren’t yet registered to vote, you can register and vote at the same time during early voting. For the next two weeks and change, folks all across the state will be casting their ballots for their next U.S. Senator.

I voted early this morning!

I know it can be easy to get lost in the endless stream of countdowns and deadlines, but they are real checkpoints for our campaign. And today, we are entering the final stretch of this race.

As polls open, our opponent is picking up some steam, but we always knew this race would tighten. Elections in North Carolina are won or lost along the margins, and the only way we win is by building momentum day after day. There have been too many good Democratic nominees for Senate in North Carolina with October polling leads who lose in November, and we can’t let that happen.

So starting today, when you, your friends and family head out to vote, wherever you are, we need to be ready. We need to finish this election strong and head into November with the momentum and resources to take on everything the far-right will throw at us.

I’ve won tough statewide races here before, and I know how to do it again: with grassroots supporters like you powering us to victory.

Thank you for being a part of this fight. Whether you’ve spent part of your weekend knocking doors, chipping in when you could or just staying updated on this race, every conversation and every last effort matters.

Just because polls are open doesn’t mean our work is over; in fact, in many ways it’s just beginning. We must make sure the people we have had positive interactions with actually go to the polls and vote. We need to keep growing this grassroots movement and make sure that we have the resources necessary to contact every eligible voter across the state and help them execute on a plan to vote.

We have a lot of work ahead of us before November 3rd, but with your help, we can finish strong.

Will you chip in $5, or whatever you can spare, to keep our momentum going through early voting and all the way until Election Day?

Thank you.

P.S. If you’re in North Carolina, you can find your early voting polling location and hours here. And with valid forms of identification, you can register to vote at your polling place during early voting. Learn how to register here.
