We’ve got to keep our eye on the ball

Folks,

I have a critical update to share with you: Recently, Nate Silver’s Silver Bulletin has shifted his prediction for North Carolina’s U.S. Senate race further in our direction.

A lot of folks will hear that and think it means that we can rest on our laurels for these last six days. That we can pat ourselves on the back and put up our feet, since a win is guaranteed.

Having won my fair share of tough statewide races, trust me: That couldn’t be further from the truth.

While it means our campaign clearly has what it takes to flip this seat, it also means that the GOP is growing increasingly desperate to defeat me. Far-right super PACs have spent millions to broadcast despicable lies about my record on the airwaves, and BOTH President Trump and JD Vance just came for another recent hurrah to rally the MAGA base in Greenville and Hendersonville.

The tides may be turning against Republicans in North Carolina and nationwide, but Senate control still hinges on the outcome of our race. Your grassroots support toward our daily fundraising goal is the only way I’ll fight back against any surprises they still have up their sleeves and cross the finish line first on Election Day.
