Tomorrow is Election Day
Tomorrow is Election Day, and I wanted to say thank you.
For the last 15 months, you’ve knocked on doors, talked with your neighbors about this race and chipped in when you could. You’ve made phone calls on your lunch breaks and spent your weekends fighting for my campaign. I’m grateful for all of it.
With the help of folks like you claiming a stake in their own future, we’ve built an amazing people-powered movement.
I’ve spent these last 15 months on the road, hearing from people in every kind of community. Families struggling to afford child care. Recent graduates dealing with expensive rent. Farmers trying to keep up with tariffs.
I’ve met with volunteers who told me they’d never been to a political event before, new grassroots donors who’ve had enough of big money in politics and people working hard to leave a better future for the next generation.
What stays with me is how many of these conversations and relationships began with frustration, and transformed into something else. I’ve watched disappointment turn into hope-driven action again and again, all across the state.
I know we are ready to flip this seat. And when the polls close tomorrow night, we will show the rest of the country just how many people are committed to fighting for change.
But races in North Carolina are won and lost in the margins. I’ve seen it every time I’ve had the honor of being on your ballot so I know just as well as anyone: a state like this doesn’t hand you a cushion.
Tomorrow is our last chance to make sure people who haven’t voted have a plan to cast their ballot. My team will be out knocking on doors across the entire state.
I am hopeful — I know what we are capable of. And I am also determined. I don’t want to wake up on November 4th feeling like we missed something, like we didn’t fight hard enough to the very end. I know you don’t either.
So if you’re ready for one last fight, please chip in $5 or whatever you can spare, to help us finish strong. Your support will help us reach the very people who could decide this race.
Our moment is finally here, and I am so grateful to be in it with you.
