48 Hours
We have just two days until Election Day.
Two more days to reach every voter, help our friends and family get to the ballot box and finish this campaign strong. But before we get to the work ahead, I wanted to take a moment to say thank you.
If you spent part of your weekend knocking doors, calling voters and staying updated on this race, you’ve been an integral part of this campaign. I am grateful for every ounce of support.
Where we stand
As of today, more than 2.8 million North Carolinians have cast their ballot. I’m encouraged by that number and glad so many people voted early. It tells me North Carolinians are paying attention and that they care about what happens next.
But this race isn’t over. Plenty of our neighbors, coworkers and classmates plan to vote on Tuesday, and many of them haven’t yet settled on a plan for how to get there. Those are the people we are talking with now.
Why every vote matters here
If you’ve spent time in North Carolina politics, you probably know how these final moments go. Our elections are decided along the margins — sometimes by a few thousand votes, and sometimes by far fewer.
So when I say every vote counts, I mean it. One conversation, one ride to the polls, one reminder text that Tuesday is Election Day could make all the difference in determining who will represent you in Raleigh and in Washington DC.
The final stretch
Over the next 48 hours, our organizers all across the state will be knocking doors and making calls to voters who haven’t yet cast their ballot.
We have a special opportunity over the next 48 hours to cement everything this campaign has built and to make sure everyone’s hard work is seen when the polls close.
If you’re ready to help them in this final stretch, you can sign up to volunteer here and chip in whatever you can here. Every volunteer shift and every contribution helps us reach one more voter.
We’ve come a long way together. It’s time to finish it.
Are you ready?
